There are quite a few vegan and vegan-friendly hotels throughout Europe, which is fantastic! This main lineup focuses on vegan hotels and there is a smaller vegan-friendly (they are primarily vegetarian) list at the end of the article; it is by no means exhaustive!

Casa Albets
Catalonia, Spain
Just under two hours from Barcelona in the small town of Lladurs is this gorgeous, reconstructed masia, which roughly translates to a rural cottage. The family-owned hotel is run with the utmost care for the environment, local community, and visitors. The hotel’s vegan menu features dishes that have been prepared as sustainably as possible with local produce, and soon, they plan to use only produce from their onsite garden.

Villa Vegana was one of the first vegan hotels in Europe back in 2013, and it offers visitors a little slice of vegan paradise. The hotel is set in a 15th-century manor house and offers four double rooms and four suites (make sure you book early!), and all reservations include a delicious vegan breakfast!

You’ll be only 12 miles (19 km) from Glencoe Mountain which offers skiing and snowboarding in the winter and in the summer if a terrific place to hike and bike.

Your stay includes a wonderful vegan breakfast and the property features a modern kitchen so you can prepare any other meals during your stay. The property is small, there are only three rooms, so book early!

This amazing vegan hotel is everything I could dream of and more for a French getaway — quintessential stone cottages covered in vines on the bank of a river — I think if I came here, I wouldn’t leave! Aside from being downright gorgeous, everything at Le Cheval Blanc is about food and to be precise vegan food! Guests can hone their skills at their cooking school or sit back and be pampered with gourmet meals.
Vegan Surf Camp
Southwest coast, France
This isn’t a traditional hotel or B & B but I thought it was so unique that it needed a mention. The vegan surf camp grew from people’s love of combining surfing, yoga, and vegan food (hence the name). They offer summer retreats (May – September) that focus on yoga and surfing to visitors of all levels. Accommodations include camping (deluxe and basic) as well as a mobile home.

A vegan trip to Krakow isn’t complete without staying at the city’s first and only vegan hotel! This sophisticated hotels offers studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments — perfect for solo travelers, couples, or families.
All of the apartments have kitchenettes, but I doubt you’ll want to make any of your own food once you check out the lovely Zaczyn Bakery and Café, which is onsite. You’ll find yummy options for breakfast and plenty of sweets to fuel your day; the hotel also has a vegan pantry stocked with all sorts of goodies.
As if that weren’t enough, the property also has and eco-vegan library, an exercise room, a space for yoga, and a salt grotto.
