The ice cream queen behind this plant-based treat-dom was dead set on bringing her Chicana culture to the diverse food scene in Portland — becoming the first (and possibly only) paletaria in town!

Your visit must include sampling one of her veganized paletas, which come in so many tasty flavors like Oatchata, toasted coconut, Thai tea, and more (just make sure you add a delicious hot fudge or peanut butter drizzle over whatever you choose). On top of the paletas, they also have super creamy soft serve that you can enjoy on its own or as a Thiccflurry (a play on another popular ice cream treat from a fast-food giant that doesn’t need naming).
