The weekend brunch menu (available Saturday and Sunday) offers everything from French toast with berry compote to avocado flatbread — whatever you choose, it will go great with their endless Mimosas!

The VSPOT

You can’t leave Brooklyn without getting your hands on one of the VSpot’s house-made arepas topped with an irresistible mix of Colombian red beans, carne molida (or mushrooms for a gluten-free option), guac, and more!

Aside from delicious Arepas, Brooklyn’s oldest Latin vegan restaurant has a killer menu packed with house-made empanadas, loaded burritos, Colombian fried chicharron, and more!

Get ready to enjoy a flavor rainbow! Ras is the first organic, plant-based Ethiopian restaurant in NYC and is ready to delight you with classic dishes and some seasonal favorites. Their lunch menu features gorgeous bowls filled with slowly simmered chickpeas, collards, stewed tomatoes, and more.

Their menu at dinner flips to include traditional platters served with Injera or rice. These are perfect for sharing! But if you’re not a fan of sharing, no worries; they have plenty of small bites and entrees to check out.

Ital Kitchen

With a name like that, how can you not want to check it out!? This casual spot is creating a cult-like following with its creative sandwich lineup featuring its house-made meats. Deciding what to get is a challenge. 

You could be a Sexy Devil (seitan ham, turkey, Rind cheddar, pickled jalapenos, sauerkraut, satanic sauce on a focaccia hero) or an Evil Twin (seitan roast beef, Rind cheddar, dill pickles, tangy slaw, mayo on a potato onion roll) — and that’s just the start!

Locals say this 70s-inspired diner has the best vegan fried chick’n in NYC! Everything from the super crispy chick’n to the finger-lickin’ sauces is house-made — you won’t find anything quite like it anywhere else.

Being greedy is usually not a great personality trait unless you come to this casual vegan spot! Their delicious lineup of vegan comfort eats could keep you here for days, and I bet you’d still not get to the end of it.

Screamer’s Pizza

Can you really go to NYC without sampling their iconic pizza? I don’t think so! This classic pizzeria is tossing up epic pies covered in garlic oil, chorizo, almond ricotta, and much more.
