Where to Enjoy a Mouthwatering Vegan Breakfast in Miami

#1 Manna Life Food

80 NE 2nd Ave Alfred Dupont Building, 80 NE 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33132
Vegan and gluten-free friends, this is one of two cafes in Miami that have kicked both animal products and gluten out of their menu. You can eat here knowing there won’t be any uncomfortable repercussions later.

Every day except Sunday, you can stroll in here to enjoy a mouthwatering lineup of breakfast eats! If you’re feeling creative, don’t miss their house-made arepas stuffed with either passionfruit and Maca fudge or traditional peanut butter and jelly. If you’re more of a traditional breakfast eater, you can’t go wrong with a stack of golden waffles topped with coconut whipped cream or a superfood bowl loaded with Vega One protein, peanut butter, berries, and much more.

#2 The Chocolate Chip Bakery

166 NE 29th St, Miami, FL 33137
Since I know the anticipation of knowing the second entirely gluten-free and vegan spot was killing you, I’ll cut to the chase! After you’ve devoured everything at Manna Life, you’ve got to come to this delightful café and bakery.

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, don’t miss their decadent, house-made donuts — Samoa, café con leche, carrot cake, cookie crumb — you’ll want to try them all! On the savory side of things, you can’t go wrong with their Power Breakfast Sandwich, loaded with sausage, cheese, and tomato between their house-made sweet potato bun! Don’t forget to take a slice of banana bread or coffee cake for the road!

#3 Love Life Café

545 NW 26th St, Miami, FL 33127
This bright and welcoming vegan café will help you start the day with a dose of antioxidants and a little bit of good karma, and love swirled into every bowl and smoothie. The team behind the café believes that healthy, plant-based eating is not only good for you but also an act of social responsibility towards our planet and the animals — who doesn’t want to get behind that?

You can start your day with one of their creative smoothies packed with pitaya, turmeric, berries, and more, or a simple cold-pressed juice. On the food side, they have a small but mighty lineup of acai bowls topped with house-made granola and fresh fruit, savory wraps, and toast.

#4 Delicious Raw

1828 Bay Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139
When you need to get moving early, there is no better place to go in Miami than this vegan-friendly café! Starting at 7 AM, you can pair your mocha chaga latte with a stack of crispy Righteous Waffles (gluten-free, too) topped with your choice of strawberry mint jam or blueberry lemon compote!

Aside from waffles, you’ll also fall head over heels for their pitaya and acai bowls topped with a sweet selection of fresh fruits, coconut, and house-made granola — just ask them to omit the honey. But that’s not all; smoothie lovers are in for a challenge — depending on how you’re feeling, they’ve got an antioxidant blended drink for you! From Activators packed with energy-boosting ingredients to berry blends to help you get your glow on.

#5 L’Artisane Bakery & Bistro

2526 Ponce de Leon, Coral Gables, FL 33134
OMGeeeee Will be the first words out of your mouth when you step into this dazzling vegan French patisserie and café! Even if you can’t make it here for breakfast, you must find time to visit — it’s one of the best vegan spots in Miami!

Once you’ve finished drooling over the endless rows of perfectly golden pastries and chosen which you’ll eat now and take for later (there’s no leaving here empty-handed), you’ve got to turn your attention to their all-day breakfast menu. For my gluten-eating friends, you’ve got a tricky task deciding which breakfast croissant sandwich to choose — one with wild mushrooms? Sausage and shiitake bacon?

There are so many to choose from.  If you can’t have gluten, no worries! You can’t go wrong with their lemon coconut yogurt bowl or savory veggie-packed omelet. If you’re visiting on the weekend, don’t miss their special tiramisu waffle (gluten-free, too)!

This fast-casual vegan café is on a mission to blow people’s minds with the diversity and flavor of plants! According to them, “You’ve never tasted plants like this!” That sounds like a challenge you’ll want to accept and the ideal place to go when you need to kick-start your day!

Their all-day vegan breakfast menu features a mix of good-for-you dishes with a little bit of comfort. For the most delicious start to your day, you can’t go wrong with their sausage, egg, and cheese bowl or sandwich, but for something a little lighter, check out their avocado or peanut butter and berry toast.

Chic Vegan Weekend Brunch Spots in Miami

On the weekend, you’ll want to check out the vegan brunch lineups at these two Miami hot spots!

#8 PLANTA Queen & South Beach

850 Commerce St, Miami Beach, FL 33139
3015 Grand Ave Suite 201, Coconut Grove, FL 33133
Whether you’re hanging out in beautiful South Beach or sophisticated Coconut Grove, you’ve got to check out the special weekend brunch lineup at these PLANTA spots! On Saturday and Sunday, both chic spots offer a killer breakfast-meets-lunch lineup full of Asian, Mexican, and American inspiration.

The brunch menus are a little different at each location — PLANTA Queen has more Asian influence, and PLANTA South Beach has a more traditional lineup with a bit of Mexican inspiration. If you’re in the mood for more breakfast fare, head to PLANTA South Beach and dive into their crispy banana waffles, berry-topped French toast, or spicy patatas bravas. Over at PLANTA Queen, you won’t want to miss their Ube Mochi waffle topped with caramelized bananas, or for something unique, try the Breakfast Futomaki (spinach, tamago, avocado, ahi watermelon, masago arare).

As if that weren’t enough, both spots offer endless mimosas and sake sangria!

In addition to a sweet stack of fluffy pancakes covered in pastry cream and guava sauce (they also have tiramisu and plain pancakes), you’ll drool over their eggs benedict made with poached, silken tofu and steak (griller Oyster mushrooms) and eggs! If you’re not in the mood for breakfast-type dishes, that’s ok because their brunch menu also has tacos, sandwiches, and bowls. Plus, the menu is well-marked for gluten-free, soy-free, and nut-free dishes.
