Travel Responsibly, Impact Positively

Not only can you rest assured that this trip aligns with your desire to support cruelty-free activities, but you can also feel good knowing that the carbon created from the land-based portion of the itinerary will be offset and we’ve prioritized working with local businesses so more of your dollar stays in the destination. A portion of the profits from this tour will also support a local charity.

Best trip I’ve ever done! Every detail was considered, the food was incredible, and I did/saw way more than if I had tried to plan the trip on my own.

Is This Tour For You?

  • This itinerary covers a lot of ground and includes many fantastic activities and sights, which means there will be some long days and early mornings.
  • You will visit several temples on this trip, which requires a level of modesty. Please bring clothes that cover the arms and pants or skirts that go past the knees.
  • Bangkok is a chaotic and fun city but can be intimidating to some — just take your time when exploring solo and be careful crossing the street!
  • On transit days or in more rural areas, vegan options might be more simple or limited than during other parts of the trip.

Day 1: Arrive in Bangkok

Meals included: Welcome Dinner

Sa-Waddee! Welcome to Thailand!

Thailand’s bustling capital, Bangkok is famous for its tuk tuks, khlong boats and street vendors serving up delicious
Thai food. Bangkok has so much to offer those with time to explore. We will meet in the evening for a welcome meeting and dinner.

Destination: Bangkok
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner

This morning, depart early for one of Bangkok’s most authentic floating markets, Tha Kha Floating Market. Stroll past bustling canals where vendors sell vibrant fruits, vegetables, and local goods from their boats, then board a paddleboat to explore the waterways more deeply. Along the way, stop at a riverside workshop to see how the area’s famous coconut palm sugar is produced.

Return to Bangkok and continue your journey with a visit to the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, a dazzling royal complex filled with ornate structures that showcase Thailand’s magnificent architectural traditions.

In the afternoon, embark on a walking tour of historic Bangkok, beginning at Democracy Monument. Pass by the Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall, glimpse the Royal Pavilion and Mahakan Fort, and ascend Wat Saket’s Golden Mount for sweeping views of the city. Along the way, visit Soi Baan Bat, where artisans handcraft traditional monk bowls, and admire the iconic Giant SwingWat Suthat, and the Devasthan Brahmin Shrines from the outside.

Finally, we will head to the The Gingerbread House, a charming café set in a century-old wooden home, where you’ll enjoy a refreshing drink—a perfect way to unwind after a day steeped in history, culture, and local tradition.

This morning, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai, the cultural heart of northern Thailand. Known for its stunning temples and charming Old City, Chiang Mai is also one of the country’s most vegan-friendly destinations, offering an incredible variety of plant-based dining options alongside Bangkok and Phuket. After arrival, enjoy breakfast at a vegan-friendly restaurant.

Perched high above the city, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is Chiang Mai’s most revered temple and a striking example of northern Thai architecture. To reach the temple, devotees climb a 306-step staircase lined with naga (serpents), a journey believed to bring Buddhist merit. The views over the city from the summit are breathtaking.

In the afternoon, take part in a hands-on vegan cooking class. You’ll learn about the key ingredients of Thai cuisine, how they are traditionally prepared and stored, and which substitutions work best back home. With plenty of opportunity for questions, the experience is both fun and informative. At the end of the class, sit down to enjoy the feast you’ve created, finishing the meal with a tasting of fresh, seasonal Thai fruits.

Choose your own adventure! Today, we have two fantastic activities for you to choose from or you could just explore Chiang Mai — it’s totally up to you!

The first option:

In the early morning, head north to Bua Thong Waterfall (Sticky Waterfall) near Chiang Mai is a small and beautiful,
multi-tiered waterfall made of limestone and mineral deposits. It has been nicknamed ‘the sticky waterfall’ because
the limestone creates enough friction to stop slipping, making it very easy to climb up the waterfall (with the help
of ropes). The limestone is slightly rough, but it isn’t painful to step on, and forms an interesting bubbly pattern.
There are 5 different levels to experience and steps on the side of the waterfall leading all the way to the bottom.
Most people walk to the bottom and then climb up the waterfall to the top. On a hot and humid day, the water is
cool and refreshing.

Sticky Waterfall Pricing:

Group of 2-3: 1750 THB per person
Group of 4-5: 1000 THB per person
Group of 6-16: 900 THB per person

The second option:

Enjoy an immersive coffee tour in Doi Saket. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to experience life on a coffee farm, create a souvenir using dry cherries, plant a coffee tree, and learn about coffee processing, sensory and cupping techniques, roasting, and brewing. After enjoying a delicious lunch, you’ll be transferred back to Chiang Mai, with an estimated arrival time of 2:00 – 2:30 PM.

Coffee tour pricing: 1800THB/person

Destination: Chiang Mai – Koh Pha Ngan
Meals included: Breakfast

Today, leave early to airport and board on a domestic flight to Koh Samui, then take a private speedboat to Koh Pha
Ngan. Koh Pha Ngan is a picturesque island in Thailand known for its stunning beaches and vibrant culture. The
island also offers a range of vegan-friendly dining options, including restaurants and cafes that serve delicious
plant-based meals. You can find an array of fresh fruits, vegetables, and vegan snacks in local markets. Additionally,
Koh Pha Ngan has become a hub for wellness activities, such as yoga retreats and holistic workshops, attracting
individuals who prioritize health-conscious and mindful living. After arriving, you will have free time to relax and
explore the island by yourself.
