Meet Matt

Matt Sawicki

Matt has been part of Veggies Abroad since the very beginning — back when it was just a travel blog and his primary role was enthusiastic behind-the-scenes cheerleader.

By day, Matt works as a court administrator, where years of management experience have made him particularly good at keeping people, processes, and plenty of moving pieces on track. These days, he puts those skills to work at Veggies Abroad too, helping manage the financial side of the business and making sure the bills get paid (an admittedly less glamorous, but very important, part of creating incredible trips).

Every now and then, he trades spreadsheets for a suitcase and joins us as a tour host, helping make sure everything runs smoothly on the road.

Favorite travel experience: Eating way too much on a street food tour in Mexico City.
